Furnishing your home

How to find white goods and furniture.

Homes for Haringey will provide you with a cooker and the carpeting/flooring to assist you with moving into your new home. You will be required to provide all other furniture to the property so you will also have to consider buying furniture, in particular a fridge and bed/s when moving.

There are available local shops and charities that provide second-handed, subsidised furniture, households items to people and families in need.

Removals

You will be required to arrange the removals of your personal belongings into your new property. Unfortunately, Homes for Haringey do not provide a removal service or provide the cost in doing so. You will need to search online or locally for companies or to find support through family or friends to help you with the move.
