Your health and wellbeing
The health and wellbeing of our tenants is our top priority. We are committed to supporting the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of our tenants by offering resources, guidance, and connections to local services.
Whether you are seeking medical care, mental health support, or assistance with lifestyle changes, we are here for you every step of the way.
General health
We collaborate closely with NHS health professionals and Haringey Council’s Public Health team to enhance the overall wellbeing of our tenants. In this section, you will find essential information on registering with a General Practice (GP) or dentist, along with details of local hospitals in the borough you live in.
Register with a GP or Dentist
Anyone in England can register with a GP surgery to access NHS services. It's free to register. You do not need proof of address or immigration status, ID or an NHS number.
GP surgeries are usually the first contact if you have a health problem. They can treat many conditions and give health advice. They can also refer you to other NHS services.
Most people need to register with a surgery close to where they live. If you need to find a new GP or Dentist in your local area.
You can also contact them by:
- Phone 0300 311 22 33
- Relay UK for people who are hearing or speech impaired: dial 18001 followed by 0300 311 22 33.
- British Sign Language (BSL) users can contact them via BSL video interpreter Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.
