Reporting issues
Before you report any repairs, we recommend reading our looking after your home section. We outline what repairs and maintenance tasks we handle as your landlord and what repairs you are responsible for as a tenant.
To raise a new repair job
You need to report online using the ‘report a repair’ page. Once you have logged the repairs, the team will contact you with the appointment date and time.
Alternatively, you can also report repairs by contacting the Customer Service line on 0208 489 5611.
OR please visit a library for further support.
Checking the progress of an existing repair job can be done via MyAccount or Housing Online.
Tenants living out of borough
If you have pest issues, you should report to TA Repairs - please email us at TARepairs@haringey.gov.uk. Our team member will log this and send you a booking confirmation.
Timeline
Please note, there is currently a wait of 4 weeks for new repair jobs to be processed. If the repair is an emergency or it relates to an issue that could pose an immediate risk to health, please contact Customer Services on 020 8489 5611.
The Repairs Handbook also contains details on how to raise a repair and track its progress.
Heating, hot water and boiler repairs
The property you have been placed in to belongs to a private owner and has been leased to the council to use as temporary accommodation. This means that gas repairs to your home will either be carried out by the landlord’s private gas contractor or with Purdy (Homes for Haringey Gas Contractor).
Please note, if your selected gas contractor is Purdy, you can contact them to report a fault by calling them on 01992 703 410 or email us at gasenquiries@haringey.gov.uk

Repairs can be reported by calling us during office hours on 020 8489 5611 (9-5pm)
For emergency repairs out of normal office hours and bank holidays, please call us on 020 8489 0000

- Burst pipe: Immediate attention is required to prevent water damage and flooding.
- No heating or hot water: Especially critical during colder months to ensure your home remains warm.
- No power to all sockets: Loss of power to multiple outlets can disrupt your daily activities and may indicate a larger electrical issue.
- Sewage backup: This can pose significant health hazards and needs urgent resolution.
- Gas leak: If you smell gas, call the Transco (Gas Emergency Helpline) immediately at 0800 111 999.
